So.... I've been sick for TWO weeks now!! UGH!
I seemed to be getting better, but when I woke up on Sunday I was a mess all over again!
*sniffle, sniffle* *sneeze* *cough*
Yesterday, we went to Grandmomma and Granddaddy's house to celebrate Aunt Jessi's birthday with her. Mike, Granny, and Pop were also there. I had fun visiting with them and showing off my inchworm skills. I wasn't feeling well, but I was a pretty good sport most of the time. I cried most of the way home, but I (surprisingly) found a way to sleep through the night... well, I coughed some, but went back to sleep quickly.
This morning, Momma was going around the house opening the blinds like she usually does and she was met with a SIGHT out the front window! There was a HERD of GIANT wild turkeys roaming around. There were about 10-12 of them... Just hanging out in the street and on the lawns. One of the boy turkeys got very flirty and made his feathers REALLY big for the girl turkeys. He didn't get any "takers"...
This afternoon, Momma took me to see my pediatrician, Dr. Hood. She said my lungs sound clear and my ears aren't red/infected. Since my drainage seems to be pretty clear, Momma and Dr. Hood decided to try an antihistamine (Children's Zyrtec). If there isn't any improvement by Thursday, then Momma has to give her a call.
I REALLY want to figure out how to actually crawl!! I've been trying out all sorts of new moves! Tonight I even tried climbing up onto one of my toys to try to get to my favorite part of it (which was on the other side, but I could see it through a cut-out). Momma hopes I show this new move to Ms. Amy tomorrow. (There's a video of this).
