Hi Etta Honey! It looks like you had lots of fun yesterday with Grandmomma Mel. I really liked how you were sharing your smiles with her. We miss you and are already planning our trip back up to see you in October. Give your mommy and daddy a squeeze for me. (I miss them too.) Love you, Nana V
Okay, I had to come right back and sign again after looking at the Alabama slide show! First of all, that photo that involves Whit is HILARIOUS! That kid has to be in show business when he gets older. Also, there is a photo with your Nana (May) holding Etta, and I swear it looks like she is winking at Nana! Also, that swimsuit is the prettiest princess suit I have ever seen. My B on the double-comment.
So glad to hear that you met another family with a child with DS! Connecting with a family who knows where you are is so important. Hope all the upcoming appointments go well, and I am very pleased to hear that Early Intervention is so involved. Happy Birthday Nana V!
It was so great seeing you! I am missing you so very much already and your momma! You smell so sweet and your are just soooooooooo adorable! I am very lucky to have you as a niece. Want you to know i will always be here for you and love you with all my heart. I can't wait to see you again. We will have to plan a trip real soon!! Love you, Kimi
Well you would never believe this Etta, I was on a plane yesterday, coming back from Newark, NJ(dropping Kelsey off at her new school)...chatting with the woman next to me about random things at first and then it came down to names and guess what! She, as a little girl, used to go to the Tivoli with her Mom and and have tea with your namesake! What a small world is that!
Etta, what a lucky angel you are to have so many people who love and adore you! It may be many moons before I get to meet you in person, so I am very thankful your Mommy & Daddy are such technology wizards to have created this site where I can keep up with you. A super kiss and hug for you my little one.
I can hardly wait the couple of days that it will be until I can kiss your soft little face, nibble your tiny toes and measure your sweet little hands to mine. I see that you've been keeping Mommy and Daddy on their toes. Know that you are the light in their lives and they are blessed to have an angel like you.
I just caught up on tons of news on the blog! Sounds like baby Etta is staying healthy and gaining weight--excellent! I'll bet your mom and Nana were SO thrilled to see you and Etta for a surprise visit! I cannot wait to see you both sometime soon. I blew out my knee again, so traveling isn't in the cards right now. Talk to you soon!
Good morning sweet Etta. Just wanted to let you know we look at your journal every weekend to see what you have been doing, as I don't seem to get to log on during the week. You go to more neat places than I get to go. You are growing so much and we just love you and love to know what you are doing. We really hope to see you soon.
Love you. Uncle Stan and Aunt Beth.
You get prettier every time I see you baby girl. I hate we haven't seen you in person yet, but I know you, mommy, and daddy stay busy, and we do too. We are thinking of all of you and looking forward to meeting you in person. with our love,Lori and KJ
Hey, Baby Etta! Mama said she'd write this entry for me since, you know, I can't eactly type yet, but I wanted to tell you that I am officially obsessed with all the videos of you on your journal! At least twice a day, I ask to see Baby Etta, ha ha!
I love you, and I hope you get to come see us in Auburn someday soon! We'll share a bottomless bucket of chips at Niffer's and it will be AWESOME! :)
You looked SO happy with your Grandmomma Mel on your shopping trip today. I liked the clip in your hair and your summer outfit. Thank goodness you took a little nap and let momma buy you some goodies. See you soon little one.
Hi sweet Etta!
I LOVE reading about all of your adventures! You have been one busy little girl since you got home! The adoring public just keeps streaming in...and you have taken your first road trip! Way to go, girl! I want to come visit and get some snuggle time with you, so I'll have to find out from your mommy when is a good time to catch you at home AND awake! (I think I will buy stock in Target...that seems to be your favorite place!) Glad to read that Daddy got his OWN peanut shell to carry you around! Now you can be right next to Daddy & Mommy all the time when you are out and not have to stay in that yucky carrier!! (wink, wink)You already know what you want and what just will not do! I LOVE that about you already! Love, Kathy
P.S. Kennedy misses your mommy like crazy!!!
Well Etta honey, we got home from work this afternoon and the house was SO quiet. We were missing you even before you headed back north to Spring Hill. How amazing it was to squeeze you and tell you stories and watch Nana May smile into your face! Give Mommy and Daddy lots of hugs and hurry back to see us.
...AND the generations continue. What priceless pictures! I know Etta is very happy to meet her Nana May and visit with Nana V and Grandfather. Tif you are very brave* Have a wonderful time! Love to all. GMM
It's Sunday afternoon. I have been catching up on your latest photos and doctor's reports. I like your little fat rolls. I want to kiss your little neck and squeeze you tight!
Hey, I think your neck hammock is pretty cool. I know it's called a peanut somethingoranother but it looks like a hammock to me.
Give your Mom and Dad kisses from me and ask them to kiss your neck for me.
Etta: I am so excited that you were able to get such good reports from all your new friends at Vandrbilt's DS Clinic. I'm especially excited that you got such a good report from your cardiologist. Tell Mommy and Daddy thank you for taking so many pictures of you. Pops and I can barely wait to squeeze you next month. (I might not be able to wait that long.) I hope that the red phone calls you are making are to me!
I am glad that your dad and Chris were able to come and spend some time with you! Please tell them hello for me. I am happy to hear that the Early Intervention people have already stepped up! The earlier the intervention, the better the outcomes! YAY!
Hey Grandmomma Mel just sent us the link that has your cute.... pictures. Can't wait to see you in person. You are very loved. You have so many people who love you. We are praying for you every day. I'm sorry you have to be stuck with the needles. Hang in there. You are very special.....
Dear little Etta, you are growing so fast. I love your pictures, particularly the one of you and Daddy hanging out on the couch, SWEET. I am sorry you have to get stuck with needles so much, but at least Mommy is there to kiss away the hurt! Love you much!
Hi Etta! You are already quite the little shopper girl! Target, Publix, Home Depot, Babies R Us... you are all over the place! I love reading about what you are doing each day and how much fun you and your mommy are having. I am so glad you love the Peanut Shell!!! That is much easier on mommy than that bulky carrier! You keep chowing down on that formula and gaining weight and getting stronger! We can't wait to come see you!!
We had such a fun time meeting you today Etta! You are truly precious and oh so loved...we will visit again soon and hopefully your mommy can teach me some "mommy" basics for the future...=) Dios te bendiga Edamame!
I LOVE the website! It is precious and such a great way to show off Etta and keep us all posted on how she (and you and Keith) are doing! I love the pics of you and her snoozing on the couch! That is the best, isn't it???
We will keep watching the website!
